The Founders

Made in Portugal.

01 · Origin

Made in Portugal.

Our fashion is produced exclusively in Europe, in selected workshops chosen for their craftsmanship and attention to detail. Every piece passes through hands that have spent years learning their craft.

We work with selected ateliers in Portugal, partners we chose because their standards meet ours, and because they make under fair, transparent conditions.

02 · Materials

Fibres chosen for the long view.

Every piece is crafted with the utmost precision using high-quality materials. We source high quality cotton from Europe.

The difference reveals itself on the second wash, the second year, the second decade.

03 · The Process

From cloth to shoulder.

Five quiet steps stand between a roll of fabric and a Veldaer piece arriving at your door.

  1. 01
    Sourcing
We work only with European suppliers whose practices we have seen.
  2. 02
    Pattern Making
Each silhouette is drafted, tested, re-drafted. A first sample lives on a body, never on a hanger, for two weeks before it is approved.
  3. 03
    Construction
Sewn in selected partner ateliers in Portugal under fair, transparent conditions.
  4. 04
    Finishing
Metal badge is Made in Germany. Buttons, cuffs, and seams are inspected one-by-one against a tactile standard.
  5. 05
    Quality Control
Each piece is reviewed by the atelier itself before we confirm production. Quality is verified, not assumed and a piece only leaves the workshop once it meets the standard we agreed on.
